This section of the website was going to be a page telling you who we are and what we do and what we have done. But we both agreed that rather than reading like a section from 'all our yesterdays' it would be better if I (Allan) gave you a very brief bit of background and then told you the story of how we came to be Sasha lovers.
So here goes.... Patty and I have been married quite a number of years, its our ruby wedding anniversary this year. Patty has recently retired from work and I work full time at being retired. We have 3 sons and 3 grandchildren, we enjoy music, gardening, walking (especially in the Lake District) and most other things we can do together apart from I like going to the football and she likes sewing (and chocolate).

Patty always made her own dresses and knitted jumpers, scarves and mittens for the boys when they were young (whether they liked it or not). Up to a few years ago she worked at a pre-school nursery and used to make all the aprons and all sorts of dressing up clothes for the children and for their dolls, she also made soft toys and dolls clothes to sell at their fund raising fairs.

When Patty retired from the nursery I had just retired from my job and had got myself a new computer and was selling some of my old books and stuff on eBay.
About February 2006 we started putting various sizes of dolls clothing to sell on eBay and it was quite a nice and interesting hobby for both of us, Patty being the creative worker and me the office staff. All this came to an end when Patty discovered a Sasha doll on eBay and thought it was the most beautiful doll that she had ever seen. That was it for Patty, I had to find all the information I could about them as we had never heard of them before (we knew all about Action Men and Masters of the Universe dolls), and so I bought a couple of books off eBay ( The Dolls Dressmaker and Sasha Dolls Through The Years) and Patty made a dress to fit Sasha from pictures in the books. It looked very nice I thought but then she said "we'll have to get a Sasha doll".
"Whaaaat! do you know how much they cost, are you mad, I'm not paying that much for a doll" I said. So 18 months and 20+ dolls later here we are. What started as a hobby has turned out to be a little bit more than that but we both thoroughly enjoy what we are doing and plan to keep on doing it.
